Emails which I would expect to see in my inbox for my email account are loaded into “Unread” under “Favorites”. How can these emails be directed to my inbox.
Do you have Categories option turned on in eM Client? If so the “missing” emails may be in a different category? Try turning Categories off: *Settings > Mail > Categories then untick “Show categories” Then click Apply or Save & Close See if that resolves the issue.
Thanks John. That seemed to do the trick. All of the “missing emails” suddenly appeared in my inbox! I’ve been using Outlook for well over 20 years and eM Client for two days so it is quite alien to me.
Hi John_A … As one who is obviously familiar with the eM Client display perhaps you can advise me on how I might move the reading pane from beside the email listing to underneath the list of emails. I looked through settings and couldn’t see how I can do this. It was pretty easy with MS Outlook.
Thanks. The version of eM Client on my desktop allows me to open up the menu selection as you have shown in you uploaded image and allowed me put the messages on the bottom. However, the problem lies with eM Client on my 9 inch tablet in that that version does not have the three bars at the top but only the “Settings” gear icon on the bottom left of the screen. This means that I am unable to bring up the “Data Files” menu. Why the two versions of eM Client downloaded on the same day on separate devices look different, beats me!
I only use Desktop version so unable to comment on your Tablet version.
