My email had been working fine for years until recently it won’t download my email’s and comes up with an error message “(XMPP) An attempt to connect failed. This could be caused by sever temporary unavailable or incorrect settings”
Yet it still downloads calendar and contacts.
Set up another email program and it downloads emails fine so it is not a Gmail issue.
