EMAIL stuck in draft, will not send

Our fire department (non-profit) recently started using eM client about 6 months ago. Now many, if not all users cannot send email using the em client. Email messages are stuck in the outbox and will not send.

Now many, if not all users cannot send email using the em client.

Could your eg: Outgoing SMTP server has changed since you originally set it up.

What mail server do you send with?, and what is your Outgoing SMTP mail settings via “Menu / Accounts”. Blank out anything personal.

Sometimes emails can also get stuck sending if they have eg: overly large file attachments where the SMTP server doesn’t allow depending on your SMTP server allowance sending size. So if you do have attachments with the draft emails, check with your SMTP server technical support what size attachments they allow when sending.

Also have you installed any Optionally installed Firewall / Security programs or Optionally installed Antivirus programs or VPNs recently other than what comes default with your OS? As sometimes these type of programs can interfere with outgoing mail. So if you have anything like that optionally installed on the computers, try completely disabling those to test incase of interference.

Oh MY, thank you for the reply.
Absolutely nothing has changed, no anti-virus, firewall, printer, nothing.
The last successful email message I sent was on 10/9/24 at 9:23 pm.
Since then, one by one people are complaining that they cannot send email–myself included. So incoming mail is still functioning - I guess.

I used the automatic option when setting everyone, removing the encryption option.

The WHOLE volunteer department depends on this working. I have deleted and reinstalled my account no less than 10 times.

I have no ideas left.

Ok what is your Outgoing SMTP Server Port and Security Policy ?

Also after you press send and it gets stuck, click the dropdown arrow on the right of Refresh and click Show Operations. Then click the Log tab and “look for any obvious error messages” and paste them in this thread. We might then be able to see what’s wrong. Blank out anything personal.
