My COX email account was just transferred to yahoo using my @cox.net email account. Yahoo is the new email provider for Cox accounts.
I tried to change the settings for my "cox " account to Yahoo’s settings. I saved the info and trued to load emails. An error message states IMAP info incorrect. When I checked it, the settigs I changed were changed back to the cox settings. I tried to add an account, but i cannot because the email address is the same.
How do i get around this so i can import from yahoo?
Enter your cox email address there and complete the setup.
Once it is syncing, if there is anything in the old folders you want to keep that are not in the new ones, you can drag them across, then remove the old account.
I cannot get this to work. When I type in the email I get this screen with “password required for [email protected]”. But no option to type in a password. Is there suppose to be a place to enter the password? Thanks!,
