Any attempt to send an email brings up the dialog box indicating that this may take a long time to complete, which is very true since it never completes. This happens on both of my Gmail accounts
Does it have any attachments?
I believe that Gmail has a limit of 20 Mb per message.
Even if your attachment is slightly less than 20 MB, it may appear as more than that due to the way´Base 64 and MIME encoding add overhead to the file size.
Nope. simple text. In the last case it was a simple one-line text. If you hit the size limit in Gmail it will reject it with a reason. This just sits there and the message will never show up in Outbox, Drafts or Sent Folder. If you can interrupt the process, it will ask if I want it in Draft Folder. That also never ends but in the case the whole EmClient application is frozen and in extreme cases cannot even be stopped with Task Manager.
Is there a problem with the settings?
to my knowledge no settings was changed between the working and now not working. This has been happening for about a week or at most two. There may have been a new version but I cannot verify the timing of any updates.
