email rules not working

I’m new to eM and none of my email rules work - including those imported from Thunderbird. Here is a screen grab of one of my rules:

eM Client applies rules only on unread incoming messages - don’t you read the messages on another device prior receiving messages in eM Client? That would explain the issue. If this is not the case, please enable “Rules” logging in the menu  Tools->Settings->Advanced->Logging and simulate the problem. Then send the logs using the same logging settings window to my colleague Paul at [email protected]. Thank you. 

Scratching my head … why would I have read my emails on another device? Also, I had already enabled “Rules” logging, so I have sent the logs to Paul.

Never-mind, I’m switching over to Postbox … filters/rules work in Postbox.
