For the past few days, my emails have been getting stuck in the Outbox. No matter how many times I try to resend them, they remain there and never go through. I’m using eM Client connected to an Outlook.com account.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
No im personally not experiencing sending problems with Outlook.com
If the emails stuck ion your outbox don’t have overly large file attachments connected to them, then sometimes that can be caused by background resident programs interfering such as eg: optionally installed firewall / security programs or optionally installed antivirus programs or vpn’s . So if you have anything like that installed “other than what comes default with your OS” then try completely disabling those to test.
If you have nothing optionally installed like that or you do but disabling made no difference and you don’t have any large file attachments, then suggest to move that message stuck on your Outlook.com outbox back to your Drafts folder. Then make a backup via “Menu / Backup”. You can see when thats completed in Show Operations via the dropdown on the right of Refresh,
Then once the backup is completed, go to “Menu / Accounts” and remove and re-add your Outlook.com account via the automatic account wizard at the top and then go back to your drafts folder and try sending that email again and see if that fixes it as could be possibly a corrupted local account and just need removing and re-adding.
If that still wont send, then click the dropdown on the right of Refresh and click “Show Operations” and click the “Log tab” and look for any obvious sending error messages and paste them in this thread. We might then be able to see whats wrong. Blank out anything personally in the errors.
