Email Not Refreshing

The Em Client is not refreshing when new emails are coming in? The only way I get newer emails is to shut down the client and restart it then the emails show up. Please advise as I have tried numerous settings with no luck.

EM Client uses synchronisation periods that are set in Menu > Tools > Settings > General. Please check that this is set correctly. If you still have issues with synchronisation and your data are on the server, please try removing the account and adding it again.
