I use eM Client 9.2.1222 and the mail server is Gmail.
I cannot delete a conversation (3 messages) in my inbox. I cannot move it either to another folder. In fact, I initially already moved it to a local folder and I see it there too. This is weird as I never had this problem before.
I do not get any error message. I just see that the messages are not deleted. It seems they will stay in my inbox for ever. The conversation does not appear anymore in the inbox of my iPhone.
In my favorites folder “deleted items” there are 5 mails that cannot be deleted; 3 of them are marked as unread at the same time. That is why the banner on the favorites folder “unread” shows 3 unread mails, although this folder does not contain any mails.
Attempts to repair the database have not solved the problem.
It does not work. Show an error in the “DOS” terminal.
Is this the correct thing to enter? C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\MailClient.exe /dbrepair
Guest I will have to delete the program and reinstall. Just had an update why is this not fixed?
Good, and thanks for the image although it is not very clear
and it is not possible to read accurately.
Please confirm that the leading " (inverted commas) and
following .exe are includedin the pasted code as they are
not present in your original post.
+++++ +++++ +++++ ++++++++++ +++++ +++++ +++++ I just noticed you are using MacOS so do the following:
lose eM Client and open a Terminal. Paste in this command /Applications/eM\ Client.app/Contents/MacOS/eM\ Client /dbrepair
skybat
¡Buena suerte!

Thats very unusual its still happening. Could be eg: you might have an older eM Client version and might need updating, or you might have some external running resident is possibly corrupting your eM Client database.
So first if you originally installed eM Client from the eM Client webpage, then you can check if you are running the latest version for whatever you currently use via the release history page..
Note:- If you do update to a later version, make a backup first via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. Also close eM Client before updating.
Next if you already have the latest eM Client version, then i would next suggest to “try a new clean database” if you haven’t already. To do that first “close eM Client” and then go to the following hidden database folder and rename it to eg: eM Client-Current .
Then once renamed “reopen eM Client” and setup as new and see if that fixes the problem. If you then need any messages etc from your previous current database, see my post how to do a Partial Restore.
Apart from that, “if you have been making regular eM Client backups” either automatically via “Menu / Settings / General / Backup” or manually via “Menu / Backup” then you could alternatively restore a recent backup when you know it was working ok via “Menu / File / Restore” and any new emails since the backup will update when eM Client reconnects. Then if that works, make another new backup.
