Email message stuck in drafts folder

I have a gmail account connected to my eM Client on macOS (all latest versions). I have an email that shows up in my drafts folder as unread, but I already deleted it. I can’t get rid of this email. I can’t mark it as read or delete it, it stays the same. I also can’t see any preview of it when I open it. Is there some way I can force delete this item? Or do I have to do something more drastic like delete the whole account and re-add it? Thanks for any advice…

If the deleted email “doesn’t appear in your Gmail online Drafts folder”, then do the following manual database repair on your Mac.

(To repair eM Client database manually for Mac)

Close eM Client and then “open the Terminal app via either Launchpad or Utilities” on the Mac. Then Paste and run the following command.

/Applications/eM\ Client.app/Contents/MacOS/eM\ Client /dbrepair

Then reopen eM Client and see if the draft unread email is gone .

Awesome, looks like that did it! Thanks so much!
