Email delivered to wrong account

I have multiple email addresses/accounts. Some are GMAIL, some are custom domains.

One sender’s email to one of my GMAIL accounts is consistently delivered wrongly to one of my custom-domain email addresses. It’s almost like there’s an auto-forward or rule – but I never set anything like that.

This only happens with this one sender (who also has GMAIL and email addresses from the same custom domains). All other senders/mail is delivered correctly.

Ideas? Thanks so much!

Could possibly be then a rule or blacklist setup in eM Client automatically moving the email to the wrong account, or a filter or rule setup online in either your Google mail box or the senders mail box.

So to check if it’s and eM Client rule or blacklist delivering that email to the wrong account, go to “Menu / Rules” and “dblclick any custom rules or blacklist” to view inside them up to V9.

Also click the dropdown on the right of Local Rules at the top to see if you have any Google mail account Server Side rules or filters setup.

To view the Blacklist in V10, go to “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Blacklists and Whitelists / Manage Blacklist” at the bottom.

Now if there is no Local rules or Serverside rules setup and no blacklist setup showing in eM Client to automatically move those emails to the wrong account, then it must be a Google mailbox problem at either your end or the senders end, in which case you would need to contact Google support via either their community or phone support.

Embarrassed to say you’re exactly right. There was a rule I honestly don’t remember setting! I wonder if it happened one day when something from that address landed in junk, and I used eM’s controls to say “don’t blacklist.” Anyway, that should take of the problem. Thanks for taking the time to answer.
