Email connection

I’ve disabled the Norton 360 email scanning function (“email antivirus scan”) and am still intermittently getting the red warning triangle.

Completely disable the anti-virus application and try again.

This is just a test to see what is affecting eM Client. If it is the anti-virus/firewall, you can configure that later to allow eM Client.

Hi I’ve been testing this and have turned off the Norton scan of outgoing emails, but not the incoming onees (saw somewhere that this function can cause problems). It seems to have helped a lot. Still monitoring.

I’m having the same problem with an outlook account (imap). I disabled Internet Security/Virus scanner, checked the account settings. The error log doesn’t contain any messages.
Once in a while eM Client manages to receive messages.
