Hello eMclient Support, I have a Poco X6 Pro and was using eMclient for Android on my phone. However, there was an annoying incoming email sound that I tried everything to figure out how to change because the sound is so bad it’s almost annoying. I searched all over my phone for notifications, etc., until I decided to uninstall eMclient, and to my surprise, it was the eMclient email manager for Android that had this sound. I had previously searched internally to see if there was a way to change the incoming email sound and found nothing. I would like you to review the issue of the Tonhonhom incoming email sound and replace it with another one. This is the only reason I can no longer use eMclient on my phone.
If you are using the latest mobile Android Beta V10.3.2269, to change the incoming mail notification sound in eM Client on Android, go to “Menu / Settings”. Then under Accounts, “open your email account”. Next under Preferences press “Notifications” and press “Incoming Mail” and there is a Sound section where you can choose or change the sound as per example below.
Thanks Cyberzork, I downloaded the emclient for Android again, and it’s exactly the version you mentioned. However, I saw that where it talks about the sound for notifications from the selected account and for incoming emails, it takes you to the Android notification sound itself, and there’s already a sound that’s my default, that is, it appears as Crystal, and that’s not a bad sound. I made the modification and I’ll see if it now stops that annoying “tonhonhom” sound when each and every email arrives, which made my phone impossible to use with the sound on.
