email appearing empty when content is displayed in other IMAP clients or directly on server

Using eM version 7.0.27943.0, syncing with an IMAP server

Some of the emails in my Sent folders appear empty while they do hold content.
The mail body is visible on the server as well as  with other IMAP compatible mail clients.

The source code is showing a multipart/mixed base64 coded content. Here is the copy of an email source that does display  an empty body, while it should show a forward of a very simple, single line, message.

Any idea why the source MIME below does not display anything in eM while the BASE64 blocks correctly decode in a BASE64 decoder ?

Thanks in advance

Having the same issue in V8, so I guess it’s not new with V8. Seems specifically linked to Android and possibly Samsung email client on Android 10? That’s just my experience. I won’t post my mail header, as I think yours has the same basic info. It all appears to be about the:

Content-Type: multipart/mixed
X-Android-Body-Quoted-Part: quoted-intro
X-Android-Body-Quoted-Part: quoted-forward

Except the only thing you don’t seem to mention, is that the ‘missing’ forwarded message shows up as “Attachment.htm” and a bunch of “Attachment.txt” files in emClient V8.

And on a Samsung S8 mobile phone, with most up to date Samsung mail client, the forwarded message, and the attachments are just not even there… NOTHING. So even Android to Android, Samsung to Samsung has this issue, not just emClient. But GMail and Webmail readers seem to display the same email correctly.
