eM does not sync with imap "sent" mail folder

emails I send from my iphone do sync with my imap “sent” folder where it is housed on the GoDaddy.com server, but eM Client does not sync with the imap “sent” folder there, so I can’t see anything I sent from my iphone when using eM Client. This is not an acceptable situation for me.

Go to menu/tools/settings/mail/send and make sure “Save copies of sent messages in sent folder” is checked.

thanks, but that’s already checked. and the problem isn’t that - the problem is that messages sent from any other program - such from my iphone - are not synced into eM Client.
