eM Crashing no error message

Crashing eM Client

I have finally moved everything over from microsoft to google and decided to use eM because of its built-in syncing with google products.

Over the past 4 days of actually using eM it has crashed twice at random, once while scrolling through emails and another while replying to someone.

There is no error message when it crashes, it just shows the eM has crashed window along with being able to send in the report. I am assuming we should not post the log files here and wait for a moderator to ask us to send the logs to their company email.

I am running on version 8.0.3385 on W10P.

If you are using eMC Pro submit a ticket and send log if Free post the log and hopefully a Forum user will be able to offer some help.

Hey @skybat and thanks for the reply. Do you happen to know what log I should specifically be looking for to post?

I believe the cef.log is the log file for errors if so here is the full contents of the file. I’m not sure if it’s acceptable to put download links here so I’m just going to paste the raw text.

Errors with eg: Exiting GPU process due to errors during initialization are usually related to video drivers and how the “acceleration” works in Windows 10 with the video drivers when loading programs.

Check that you have the latest drivers for your specific video card. This issue is also common with many programs using eg: On Board video drivers depending on the manufacturer video chipset.

Lastly check that you have the latest motherboard / chipset drivers for your computer.
