eM Client will load once but after a period of use shuts down and won’t restart (get the ‘permit app to make changes’ windows but clicking yes doesn’t bring up the client).
The pc then needs restarting to have a hope of eM Client working again.
Anyone else suffering this?
Could be you might not be an “admin user”, or eM Client “hasn’t quite installed initially correctly”, or could be there is a “user startup program” interferring with eM Client opening.
First make sure you login is an “admin” user login to have full access and no restrictions.
Next if you are already an admin user, then (if you haven’t already), try uninstalling eM Client and “dont delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard" Then reinstall either from the Windows store or from the release history page depending on where you originally installed it from.
Then if uninstalling and reinstalling makes no differance, then “try disabling all non OS user startup programs on startup and reboot your computer” to see if something in there is causing it no to open on startup. If that works ok, then you enable those items “one at a time” and reboot in between till you find whats doing it. See Microsoft Tech Community page on 3 ways to do that.
