In eM Client, I previously had the command --imap-list-ignore-path "spam"
set in the account options to make it ignore the Spam folder on Seznam.cz and still download messages from it. I have since removed this command, but eM Client still behaves as if it’s active and continues to download messages from that folder.
Do you know how to completely disable this behavior and stop messages from the Spam folder from being downloaded?

In V10 via “Menu / Accounts” under the IMAP tab at the very bottom, you will see “Ignored Paths”. Click Add and select the mail folder / label you want ignored as in the screenshot example below.
If your Spam folder “is not available to select from in the ignored list”, then (apart from putting back your ignored spam path string), that normally means it carn’t be disabled in the client as is a “Special Server Folder” where you would then have to eg: disable that on your server end mailbox, to then not show or sync in the mail client end as the client will normally just sync whatever folders / labels are enabled on the server.
You could optionally look at “setting up Rules either in eM Client to auto delete spam inbox messages when they arrive” by the sender email address, domain name, header, subject or body of the emails etc, or setup Spam message filtering on your server Inbox end so it then doesn’t sync to the Spam folder.
