em client opens very slowly. sometimes takes 3 mins or more.

I agree. Will an expert kindly respond to this comment. I too find that my free copy of em client is unacceptably slow to open. I’m useing WXP. Does it perform better in W7? I’m looking for a reliable replacement for Outlook Express. Essential PIM looks good but it will import contacts but NOT my messages from OE.
em client seems to be the only one that will import contacts (but not in their folders) and all my messages intact in their folders that I created in OE but why is it so slow to open?!!

is there any window during the eM Client opening? Or eM Client opens and then you have to wait 3 minutes until you can use it?
