eM Client only working offline

I’ve been using eM Client with the free license for several months. When I opened it today, I got a message that it hasn’t been able to connect to the eM Client network for 14 days and will now be restricted to offline. This was the log entry.
4:52:09 PM Online state: changed to offline with reason Restriction , forcedOffline is true
I have no idea why it wouldn’t be connecting. Everything else, including eM Client has been working perfectly during the past 2 weeks. How do I correct this?

Hi Suzy, this seems to be a network issue, can you try to access our licensing server using your regular browser. Try to access http://licensing.emclient.com , and let us know if you were able to load the website.
Are you using any proxy/firewall or antivirus software with email protection on your computer?

It wouldn’t load until I disabled AVG email protection. Now it loads and email works again. Thank you.

Hi Suzy, I’m glad you were able to resolve the issue, unfortunately some email protection software on the market blocks eM client’s ability to connect to it’s licensing server, please try to create an exception for the application, to avoid these issues in the future.
