Hello,

I have a problem when adding my HTML signature.

Here’ the code:

Here’s a screenshot:

As you can see, the color displayed is different from the one in the source code. I first suspected it to be a conversion error from HEX to RGB, but in the mail composer the colors come out fine. I can’t post my second screenshot because I’m a new user.

I therefore suspect this to be a bug.

OK, so what are you expecting to see?
This is what I get:
maglov

I noticed you have mailto in your code, here is a link to a MailTo Editor
I wrote years ago, feel free to use if you want to.

This is probably because you are using a Dark Theme. Darker colours are made lighter so that they are visible. In the message you are composing, it is still dark, but once it is sent, if you look at the sent message, it will also be adjusted so you can read it.

If you change back to the default Light Theme, you will see the colour should be exactly as you specified it as in @skybat’s screenshot.

Hey @stub108

To follow on from @Gary
If you want to continue to use a Dark theme there is a change you can make:
Menu ->Settings → Mail ->Read ->In Right Pane ->Scroll down to ->Preferred Style →
Preferred text color ->Use color specified ->Select and change to Black
Preferred background color ->Use color specified ->Select and change to White
SAVE & CLOSE

This change will give a White background to the New Mail window.

¡Buena suerte
