eM Client keeps asking for my gmail password

Paul, I am having the same issue with the reoccurring message “password required” even though my email is loading fine. The message box will not go away. I must “x”  out the message box. Clicking OK only makes it appear almost immediately. My account is set up as an exchange account. Others in our organization are having the same issue. About ready to uninstall and try another program interface. Please help!

Hi Reggie, if you’re using a Gmail account and you’re having issue with the authorization required window, please try to navigate to this account settings using your Gmail account: https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps 

Make sure the option is set to “enable”. If you don’t want to allow the access for use with your regular web access password, you can also setup a two step verification option on your google account and generate an app specific password for use with eM Client.
