It is deleting the email below the one I click on without clicking on several if that makes sense:
say email 2 is below email 1 -click delete to delete email 1 and email 2 goes as well
I would suggest till you find out what the cause of the issue is, to enable the option in eM Client to “Ask before deleting mail” via “Menu / Settings / General / Confirmations”.
Also if you are using the default “Conversation view” when you delete a message, the message / messages below it also delete, unless you “right click” on the message and click delete. So you can also try disabling conversation view if you have that enabled to see if that fixes it. Go to “Menu / Settings / Mail / Read”.
