eM Client has stopped working. Tried reloading it, downloaded latest version. Same problem. Endlessly cycling. Checks for errors on start up but indciates everything is fine. Thanks for any advice.
When you reload or uninstall the software, the data remains on your hard drive. You might consider deleting the data files and recreate the account. Assuming you are using IMAP (or exchange)that will re-sync if you recreate the account, you can do the following:
1. Close eM Client
2. Delete (or rename) the following directory:
c:\users[user_name]\AppData\Roaming\eM Client (a hiddent directory-- make sure that you have view/“hidden items” checked on the Windows file browser).
3. Restart eM Client, a new, blank database will be created.
4. Renter your account information.
Your account(s) should now synchronize.
