I’m just trying the eM client for Android on a tablet. It’s brilliant using QR codes to transfer the account settings from my laptop to the mobile device. And I’m not sure how it’s done, but there was an option to use the email signature from my laptop settings.

Question. On the mobile app, is there a way to filter to a sender. In the Windows app, the history view shows messages from the same sender. It’s then quick to select all and delete, say routine status notices I get from the transit authority. In the message pane, when I click on a message, the history pane shows all the messages sent from the same email address. Is there something similar in the mobile android client to quickly clear out messages I don’t need?

The history pane is not available on mobile unfortunately. To get messages from a particular sender, you’ll have to use the regular Search. Either select only Sender under Options or use the From field under Advanced.

If you find yourself searching for the same thing often, you can then create a Search Folder, which is essentially a saved Search configuration. This is also found under the Advanced button in Search.

It is present in Contacts section, there are both the communication and the attachment history.
