eM Client for Andriod won't send email automatically

I’m using the new eM Client for Android. When I compose new messages they linger in the Outbox. I have to go to the Outbox manually and refresh, and then they will send. Yes: I checked the Settings and I have “Send messages immediately” toggled on. I even toggled it off and on again.

Yes this is a current problem with the Android app with OS 14. Hopefully a fix for this will be soon. I also have to manually swipe down to send emails.
