eM client fails to run after installing ver 10

After ver 10 was installed by the installer, the Pc had to restart to run the new software. now eM client fails to start. Please help this novice.

  1. Close and uninstall eM Client, making sure NOT to delete the database folder when asked. That will ensure all your data and settings are there later.

  2. If it exists, delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client folder.

  3. Download and install the latest version from here: https://www.emclient.com/dist/latest/setup.msi

  4. Restart eM Client.

Thank you for your answer as I’m having the sabe issue. Where in the unusual process does it ask about database deletion? I started the uninstall, but canceled before seeing that message.
