Having sent my first mail with “eM Client”, there was a new folder named “Outbox” next to the well-known ones like “Sent”, “Draft”. Why does “em Client” create that one? Did not experience this with my previously used mail client.
eMC places your outgoing email in OUTBOX and from there it SENDS it.
If you Delay Send then the email sits in OUTBOX until it is scheduled to be sent.

Until you asked I had never given it much thought other than to know where to look to ensure the email went out. If a non-send later email exists in that folder then it means there is an issue that needs attention
