I’m considering the Windows 8.1 upgrade and wish to know if eM Client will still work after the upgrade. I know it was originally optimized to work on Windows 8 but I don’t know if any changes in 8.1 will affect it.
I used on Win 8 and 8.1 and can’t tell any difference in how EMClient works.

Perhaps you can help me? I’ve just installed Windows 8.1 and now suddenly my em Client (paid version) will not work. I keep getting this error over and over, so basically, em Client won’t even start for me and I can’t access my email.
I even uninstalled and reinstalled em client, to no avail, the same error comes up.
Help? TIA =)

Yes Jan, I am a paid subscriber. And sorry, I already tried the above link but can’t use it because I don’t have my password, it’s in email and I can’t open that after the program won’t open. Do you folks have a more direct and uncomplicated way to get support? Thanks, Charlotte Gilmour
Problem solved, all is working now, I fixed it myself. (backed Windows 8.1 off) reinstalled em client, however, now I wonder if em client is compatible with 8.1…
eM Client works fine on my Lenovo Yoga Pro 2; however, with the very high resolution screen, the icons in the top right of the window (such as the “X” for shutdown) are extremely tiny as well as the command bar font size (even though I’ve tried modifying the Windows 8.1 DISPLAY options). 
Hi, this is normal for “retina like” displays. Problem is that most apps are not prepared for high resolution on small display.
Most Windows software like eM Client which rely on Windows libraries suffers from this, so at this moment there is nothing we can do about it.

Same problem here - eM Client doesn’t start anymore after Win8.1 upgrade.
After reinstall of eM Client it does not crash anymore, but it’s not able to login to gmail…
I have the same problem. Does anybody have a solution?
