Just installed the product. Exchange simply does not work. Password request continue, calendar does not synch correctly and the contacts are no where to be found. An interesting product. Still not ready for prime time.
I’ll continue to keep an eye on it. For now, can only use as a POP/IMAP mail applications.
Hi Jerry, sorry to see this, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About?
eM client should be able to synchronize all your items using the Exchange Web Services protocol without any additional issues, what version of Exchange are you using on your server or in your company?
Are you seeing any errors apart from the password required popup?

Thanks for your note. Running the most recent version of the product on windows 8.1, 64 bit mode. Version number is 6.0.213720. Running on MS Exchange 2013.
Can you please try to setup the account again but uncheck the “Contacts” option before finishing your account setup.
I believe this issue is caused by an incorrect setup of the Offline Address Book service on your server, eM Client detects the service but due to the setup it is unable to authenticate with the server for this service.

Good email program, but how can I get it to delete the emails on the server once I have downloaded them on eM Client?
This is something I’d like to see worked on to give more specific controls to the user. But for now you have two things you can do to remove mail from the server (I’ll assume you’re talking about a POP server). In Tools/Accounts, under the POP tab you can set the number of days to keep mail on the server. You can also move mails to local folders. Both of these actions will remove the mail from the server.
Hi Walter, these options are available based on the protocol you’re using with eM Client, if you’ve setup the account as a POP account, you can navigate to the accounts settings and set one of the available options to remove the message from the server after X days, or to remove it after the message has been downloaded.
Unfortunately there are no other options available as these are the only options the POP protocol allows us to use.
In case you’re using an IMAP account, you can not setup the account to automatically delete the messages from the server, as the protocol keeps your items synchronized with the server and your email client, e.g. what you delete in eM Client will be deleted from the server etc.

This is useless as my people sending me emails are not getting through to me and I have to go on the web to find them I was told I needed to update this eM Client but can’t find where to do that
Hello George, not quite sure what you’re referring to. What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? You should be able to update to the latest release using the built in updates feature in Help > Check for Updates.

Update automatically downloaded and now I can’t send out emails or receive emails and get a message about having a valid license. I use the free version and have never had a license number. I need help. How do I fix it? I really don’t know much about eM Client works.
