Editing emails in Inbox

Please add a the ability to edit a received email (i.e. an email in your inbox). Outlook has this capability.

I know we have the “Add Note” feature. This is cool, but I’d like to be able to edit the original email as well.

So you want to edit a received email like when adding a note (without first clicking reply or forward) ?

If you edit the received email (without replying or forwarding) via a eg: “edit email button” in eM Client on the received email, does this then create a draft email (when you save it), or does it just modify the original received email ?

It just modifies the original email.
