Get one problem with this upgrade fixed and then find another one. Now I am getting spam in my inbox since the update. Decided to check my blacklist only to find it no longer exists!

Apparently the update does something to the computer that cannot be undone! After looking at all the postings of issues with this upgrade, I have definitely decided that it is time to research for a new email program! Never have I seen so many issues with any upgrade/update!
Sounds like a possible bug in V10 or possibly you might need a slightly later 9.2 version installed (prior to the V10 update) depending on what version you had before.
What I would suggest is (before upgrading to V10), export your eM Client rules via “Menu / File / Export” to an .XML file.
Then install the latest V10.0.3351 upgrade (just released) ,and then ( if your blacklist is still not showing), import the saved .XML rules file via “Menu / File / Import”.
Steps to do that.
“If you have your eM Client V9.2 backup.zip” in your “Documents / eM Client” folder, then suggest to first uninstall version 10 and “delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard.
Then download the latest V9.2.2258 via the release history page and reinstall. Then skip the initial setup wizard and restore your V9.2 backup.zip via “Menu / File / Restore”.
Once your V9.2 backup is restored, then export your Rules to an XML file via “Menu / File / Export”, and then upgrade to the latest V10.0.3351 just released via the release history page.
Lastly restore your rules (if they are still not showing) via “Menu / File / import”.
Ps Hopefully though your blacklist might be automatically there in the latest V10.0.3351.
My old version is 9.2.2157. I did do an export which will update the settings/blacklist for the v10. My concern is two fold: first why should I have to do what an update is “supposed” to do and why can I not use a restore point to take me back to the previous version.
We started supporting synchronization of blacklist to some servers (not really anything worth mentioning per se; at least not yet), and as part of the work the UI had to be updated a bit. The removal of blacklist from Rules was more of a side effect of this work rather than intentional change “for a change’s sake”. We will discuss whether we can put it back into Rules (in addition to the section in Settings).

Yes normally upgrading eM Client versions “allways keeps all the rules including the blacklist”, and was strange it was missing in the latest V10 release in Rules. It was confusing to me too why it wasn’t showing for @Anaron initially.

Yes I personally think “that it is needed as well in the Rules section”, as alot of people “think of a blacklist as a rule” so it would be good to also be in Rules too.

Can you check you still have the same blacklist rules setup in “Blacklist menu in V10 Setting” as per @Filip_Navara screenshot above.
As if you do still have the same blacklist now in Settings, could be then the new spam you are now getting in your inbox is from eg: different senders or different domains etc.
