E-Mails öffnen nicht mehr

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe seit einigen Jahren die PRO Lizenz und bin auch sehr zufrieden. Ich habe 4 Konten eingebunden. Aber seit ca. einer Woche öffnen E-Mail nicht mehr. Es geht zwar ein Fenster auf, aber die Mail wird nicht geöffnet.
Nur, wenn ich die Mail weiterleite, kann ich den Inhalt lesen.

Kenn jemand dieses Problem. Extrem lästig.

Could be possibly something has gone wrong with the local mail database or possibly something has gone wrong with the program itself and might need uninstalling & reinstalling or even updating depending on what version you have now.

So first try repairing the eM Client mail database. To repair the database, close eM Client and then run the following command via a command prompt or terminal window depending on whether you have Windows or Mac. Then reopen eM Client and see if that fixes it.

“Close eM Client and open a Windows Command Prompt. Not a powershell, but a command prompt”.

Paste in this command:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\MailClient.exe” /dbrepair

(To repair eM Client database manually for Mac)

Close eM Client and then “open the Terminal app via either Launchpad or Utilities” on the Mac. Then Paste and run the following command.

/Applications/eM\ Client.app/Contents/MacOS/eM\ Client /dbrepair


Now if repairing the mail database makes no difference, then try uninstalling eM Client and reinstalling. When you uninstall if you have Windows 'dont delete the database when asked on the uninstall wizard". Once uninstalled, you can d/l and reinstall eM Client from the release history page for PC and Mac.


Lastly if uninstalling and reinstalling eM Client makes no differance, then if you have been making regular eM Client backups either manually via “Menu / Backup” or automatically via the “Menu / Settings / General / Backup”, then you could try restoring a recent backup via “Menu / File / Restore” (Pc) or “File / Restore” (Mac). If you have a eg: IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account, then all your new email messages since the restore point will update shortly when eM Client next syncs.
