Dropdown menu color or border

Been using EM a long while now, and really enjoying. I do have a small issue in that I can’t seem to find how to make dropdown menus stand out from the background. I’ve been all over theme editing, and it’s like this in every theme, with nothing appearing to effect it.

Under refresh, click the down arrow. Under that it lists operations, and within that the options for individual accounts. If you drill down to one and try opening that submenu (all/send all, etc), that popup has no border and is the same color as the window behind it. Blends perfectly into the messages/.interface behind it, causing me to have to slow down and carefully make sure I’m not clicking off that and into the content behind it.
Is there a these edit or setting I’m missing here that would allow for either a different color background or a colored border or something? It should affect only that level of dropdown.

I’ve found a spot that will make changes to it, but they don’t "stick.Under special controls → context menu. Change the background color, as well as the border, and apply. I also save the changes as the active theme.
It works, until I restart EM.
Also, if I immediately reopen the editor (after making and applying/saving) and go back to where I was, the changes are missing.
So, problem solved, and not…all in one go.

Answering myself, again.
After making the changes, it was reverting, since I apparently didn’t realize I needed to import and select the theme I edited. Confusing way of doing it, but it’s done.
For anyone else maybe needing this, pick your starting theme, use “advanced” bottom right to save with a new name. Go to import, find that file, select and apply. From then on, edits will show.
Phew.

I ran into the same issue with themes having to save then reload. Changes don’t stick as one would expect. It’s not too inuitive.

After you create your own custom theme in the Theme Editor, then “save the theme in a folder on your hard-disk”.

Then import that modified saved theme back into the themes using the “Import” button at the bottom of Themes as per the screenshot example below.

The imported or custom saved theme you make “will then appear at the bottom of the Themes list” to choose from anytime. Finally click Apply and “Save and Close Settings”.

Lastly if you don’t want the custom theme anymore, “click / select it” at the bottom of the Theme editor and press the “del key”.
