Drag email into task: Having an option to include body

Actually, when using the contextual menu “Create task from message”, it opens a task creation window with the title and the body already populated.

But, when dragging this message to the tasks panel, only the title is populated.

Why not having the same behavior? Or at least an option to have the body also?

Thank you!

As a software developer myself, I know you have a lot to do. So, my hearth is with you.

It should already do that. You’ll have to have two instances of eM Client running; one with messages, one with tasks. Then drag a message from the message list and drop it in the task list in the other window.

But easier to just do Create task from message.

Well, this works, but I was not talking about this.

Having only one instance of EmClient, in the mail view with the sidebar open in Agenda mode, dragging an email from the list to this sidebar, a task is created with the title populated, but not the body.

Hoping I was clearer about my request.

Well, adding tasks in the sidebar doesn’t do details. Like if you type in the pace where it says add new task, it’s just the title. So it’s the same, just the title is added when you drop the message there. If you want details, you need to add a task a different way.

Hence why I was asking for a feature request: An option to enable creating the task with the body of the email (when dragging from the email list to the sidebar in Agenda mode).

Thank you!
