In my IMAP settings I have checked the box for Download for offline use. However, no initial sync took place and no messages are automatically downloaded. Any ideas on how to fix this? Does it matter that:
- I have my local files on a network share, not in the default location
- I had to manually set up the IMAP server settings
Hi, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About? If you’ve enabled the “Download messages for offline use” option, eM Client should automatically synchronize the messages that are not yet locally saved.
Can you please try to switch to offline mode, File > Work offline, and check if any messages weren’t downloaded?
Im seeing the same thing with outlook.com emails If i uncheck this option emclient still downloads full emails. I have other email services and this options works ok but not with outlook.
