My Inbox and contacts are downloaded from a soon to be redundant BT Yahoo account.
Is it also possible to download all my sub folders from the BT Yahoo account??

There are many issues with Yahoo’s server, this would probably be not possible but if you want you can send me IMAP logs, but I think that it will say same thing as usual.
Tools - Settings - Advanced, check IMAP under your account, apply and restart eM Client.
Simulate same steps which leads to your issue and send logs… to [email protected] together with this topic’s URL in subject.
then you can turn logging off.
