Does backup functionality include Archives?
Yes the backup does include the local archive mail.
The only archive mail it doesn’t backup is eg: “if you create an external eM Client .emdf archive data file”, you need to back those up separately with all your other computer user data.

Yes when you use backup option it creates a backup zip file and it contains Archives also.
