I often send scanned documents and am looking for a way to attach them to an email as a pdf directly from the scanner. The detour via separate software to scan and then send is terrible.

This is how it works for me, as far as I am aware it is a Scanner feature not eMC
Obviously I do not know what make of scanner you use, I use Canon.
In scanner ‘settings’ I have the option to ‘Attach to email’ I have this pointed to eMC
When selected, on scan it opens eMC and auto attaches (have the choice of PDF, JPEG/EXIF, TIFF, PNG format)

Yes, of course I can send emails directly from the scanner.
But usually I get an email, answer it and want to attach a scanned document.
It would be nice and easier if you could simply use a scan like saved images.
It’s just a wish for a future upgrade.
