This programme has a MAJOR ISSUE with IMAP servers. I have just watched it, on a second computer, delete messages that I had moved into sub-folders on my IMAP Tiscali account. This makes it unusable and I as I have now lost over 20 messages since I donwloaded it I will not be buying!
I’m not sure if this is the same problem, but I was going to check some messages in an IMAP-folder. The newest messages in that folder was 2009-03-04, even though I know there are newer. A total of 120 messages is displayed.
When I looked at the same in Mozilla thunderbird, there are totally new messages, and a total of 254 messages.
The e-mails do not seem to be lost, as I can see them in Thunderbird and my webmail.
Full IMAP-support is incredibly important to me, and if the hidden messages don’t show up by making some settings or something, I can’t use this otherwise fantastic product.
I’d appreciate any support to make it show all IMAP-messages. Thank you!
I am finding the Webmail is showing 1020 Inbox messages that em Client is missing. Doesn’t look like this issue is resolved.
Server is ClearOS v 5.2. http://www.clearfoundation.com/Softwa…
Please turn on the IMAP diagnostic logs in Tools -> Settings -> Logs, restart the application and once the problem happens then send us the logs.

I have turned on the Logging for IMAP as instructed. I then shut down the eM Client, created and sent myself an email using a Web browser and GMAIL. I then verified that the email arrived into the server using Webmail, then I opened eM Client and clicked on “Send and Receive”. The results of this are in the Logs I have sent.
eM Client crashed. Trying again.
Logs are now over 500 MB total. It is crashing eM CLient. I need instructions for FTP.
Could you give me your email address? I will send you instructions for FTP. You can write it here or to [email protected].
Sounds like a server issue… I’m using Google with IMAP, works correctly. It will move to a IMAP trash folder first that created by IMAP, but when empty trash, it will delete the email directly with out going to trash in Gmail.
