I’m a little confused
I am currently using a licensed version of eM Client
I created a new profile with my Mother’s email account so I can keep an eye on her mail. She’s elderly and doesn’t check it as much as she should.
Once I created her account, an email was sent to her from em Client telling her that she was on a trial account with an offer to opt for a paid one.
So, I created a new profile with a different email address on my licensed copy of eM Client and an advertisement is being sent out in the process asking that person to upgrade.
Just want to find out what the protocol is here.

Hi NJ, the Welcome mail is created locally in ANY new database.
So when you created a new Profile, it creates a new database and as usual, adds a welcome mail with license info and a contact for support questions (since usually new database means a new user).
So you can ignore or delete this email since you already know how our licenses work.
I have sent this feedback to our team and we’ll try to find a way to make this clearer in new profiles in future updates.

Thank you as always, Olivia. I was fairly confident there was no issue but the email that goes to the new profile account is not very clear.
