Do I need to download an app to use eM Client on my Macbook Pro?

I downloaded the eM Client to my macbook, but I now have a message saying it needs an app to open it. It takes me to the app store, but I can’t find any direction on whether this is correct, or which app I may need to download.

sorry unfortunately eM Client is currently a windows-only application, so if you’re using Mac OS X, you won’t be able to use eM Client.
You could use Windows on your MacBook Pro, but that option seems a bit too complicated if you’d be using it for this application only.
