I did not find a solution, to display the folder, a mail is stored, in a list and in the read area.
Yes, if you click on a real folder, this information is obvious.
But: When you did a search or clicked on a search folder, it is totaly unclear, where this mail is stored.
@Teste - is this for the desktop or mobile application?
For the desktop App, carry out your search as required, then in the search results window, right-click the column headers and select Columns Configuration. Add Folders to the list of columns displayed and drag it up or down to change the column display order. Click OK. The search results will now always show the folder in which each email is stored.
Hi Robin,
Thank you.
Does something similar work for the compact view?
Otherwise the preview for the text in the column-view is not availlable.
Thank you for your help.
I always use single-line view so I don’t have much experience with Compact View (others will know better), but for Compact view, you can try the following:
Right-click the message list column headers and select Show in Groups and then Sort by Folder then the search list will group together all search results in the same source folder and display the folder location in the Group header.
Hi Robin,
Again Thank you.
That works fine! It is not that what I was looking for but an aceptable workaround while a visible info is missing.
Cool !!!
Hi Robin,
I have the same problem,
Unfortunately there is no “Sort by folder” in my “Sort list”.
Has that been removed? I use the Mac and the Windows version, but the folder entry doesn’t exist in either.
