My default hotmail account sub-folders disappeared today (just left with the inbox) and wouldn’t re-appear after syncing, removing then adding the account back in etc. So I un-installed, reinstalled the app several times, to no avail. Now after many attempts they have suddenly returned on adding the account and sub-folders are gradually populating with old messages. Strange!
Also although I uninstalled/reinstalled em client, my overall password and signatures did not need to be re-created. Unexpected.
It seems that it was a temporary issue on the server’s side. Reinstallation of eM Client cannot affect this.
Your settings and all other data are saved separately in the database folder:
C:\Users%Current User%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client (Vista/Win7)
C:\Documents and Settings%Current User%\Application Data\eM Client (XP)
