Disappearing email

I sent an email to my partner, which is essentially to myself.  I saw it come into the inbox and it was in the sent box.  Then system synced or refreshed or whatever you call it, and both the inbox item and the sent item DISAPPEARED!!!  What’s up with that???

that doesn’t sound like a correct behaviour, but I will need to know more to determine what could be causing the issue.
What version of eM Client are you using? How is your account set up (IMAP/POP/Exchange protocol)? Does the message disappear from your mail server as well?
When this problem happens again, could you copy the content of the Tools>Operations>Log window?
