Disable notifications for GMail Categories other than Primary

I’m a little spoilt with gmail’s categories. On my android phone, I really like that I’m not notified for promotions and forum posts, but am notified for other emails. It would be really awesome if this feature could be added.

I wonder if this is doable today? I’m testing emClient and I love it. I might even buy a license. So I’m investigating all these details. I love that you can set notifications per account (essential for me). But I don’t really want to be notified on Promotions/Social, that’s part of the sense of those categories (my dear and simple Windows Mail did it but it’s been killed as it was by MS).

Maybe some rule or other setting will do this? Thanks!

As far as i’m aware, there is no option in the program “to only enable notifications for just one specific Gmail Category”.

There is only a Setting in V10 to enable or disable “the number of Recent messages” or “the number of Unread messages” in all Categories via "Menu / Settings / Mail Categories.

If there is a way someone will update this thread.

Yea seeing popup alerts for Promotions/Social emails is too annoying. I had to just disable all the notifications.
