Could you please add a feature that allows me to disable checking incoming emails for a specific email account, for example Gmail [IMAP]?
I have 10 email accounts, and some of them receive a huge number of emails. Honestly, it’s quite annoying. I’d like to keep these accounts in the list, but have an option to either hide their emails or simply stop checking/fetching incoming emails from those accounts.
It would be great to have a per-account setting to disable incoming mail checking while keeping the account connected and visible in the list.
Hi, there is also a per-account option for this: go to Menu > Settings > Accounts, select the account and untick “Include in Send and Receive”. The account then stays in your list and visible, but eM Client won’t check it for new mail automatically.
That wont work for a Gmail IMAP account “as its pushed to the client” from Gmail and will still receive unless you “uncheck IMAP under Services” as @Ekalb advised above in his post.
POP accounts though will work with unchecking the send & receive option. Also for POP accounts you will also need to disable POP checking on Startup via “Menu / Settings / General”
