Difficulty connecting to server when not at work.

I got a new laptop in January and installed eM client with my work email. I have had the same email for two years through my office. After some troubleshooting, it is working appropriately when I am in the office. However, any time I am not in the actual office building, I am unable to connect to the server for some reason. I cannot send or receive emails when I am not in the office even though I can still see the ones that were already downloaded. Any ideas on how to fix this? It complicates things on days I want to work from home. 

It says “an attempt to connect to the server has failed”, and it shows problems that “cannot be fixed” for POP3 and SMTP

As a Pro License user, it might be better to open a support ticket directly with eM Client.

But in the mean time, check your POP3 settings in Menu > Tools > Accounts, then click on the POP3 tab. The port should be  995 and the security policy should be Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
