The version of eM Client downloaded on my desktop has three bars on the top LH corner. Clicking on these bars opens a menu starting with “Print” and ending “Exit”. Clicking on “Data Files” and then “View> Layout” allows me to choose where I want the messages, ie bottom, right or off. I dont have or cannot find this menu on the version loaded to my tablet. All I can see is “Settings” in the bottom LH corner. Surely I must be able to access the same range of options as my desktop version. What am I missing here? How do I access the same menu on my tablet?
What features are you missing from this menu on the tablet version?

To see the menu using the Beta Tablet app, you “click the 3 dots at the top right” of the app which then has similar menu options appear like Print , Tag, Flag, etc in a dropdown like the eM Client desktop toolbar.

Using eM Client Beta on Tablets currently displays the subjects on the left and message on the right in the preview window. There is “no option i’m aware of as yet” to change Tablet view layouts. If there is a way to change message layouts, someone will update this thread.
I checked and found that the desktop version of eM Client is V10.1.4588. The version on my tablet is V10.2.1465. However I did note that the latest version seems to be V10.2.1710. Is V10.1.1465 a so-called beta version? The features in particular the available displays (reading pane at the bottom on the email list) on V10.1.4588 are OK and much better than the version on my tablet. With this in mind should I update the version on my Samsung tablet and if so is it just simply a matter of downloading the latest version and installing it?
No it is not. The tablet version is based on the mobile version and it is a completely different application and not all of the features (even though we try) of the desktop app are there. One of these features is reading pane at the bottom, this is currently not avilable on the tablet version.
Thank you. When it comes to eM Client I am a real novice but as I read the threads, I am getting a much better understanding of issues.
