Is there a way to delete conversations but retain the messages i sent in the Sent Items folder?
You can “right click” in the body of any specific email messages you sent in a conversation, and select save as a .eml message to save the message anywhere you like on your hard-disk.
Then you can drag that saved .eml message back into any other existing eM Client message folder or new message folder to keep the message. Then finally delete the conversation.
Or alternatively “temporarily disable conversations” by going to “Menu / view / conversations” (PC) or “View / conversations” (Mac) and select disable conversations.
Then drag the sent message or messages you want to save from the sent folder into any existing other message folder or new message folder. Lastly re-enable conversation view via the Menu and then finally delete the conversation.
The other alternative is just to leave the sent messages in the conversation unless you are trying to save space or really don’t want them.
Lastly before doing anything make a manual backup of eM Client incase you need to restore for any reason. To do that, click “Menu / Backup” (Pc) or “File / Backup” (Mac). You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via the dropdown on the right of Refresh at the top left.
